How to use Connecting Tone Service:

In order to activate Connecting Tone service, you are required to:

  1. Subscribe to Connecting Tone service

Step I. Subscribe to Connecting Tone Service (Please go to Step II if you have subscribed the Connecting Tone Service):
  1. Dial #333
  2. Select language; press "1" for Cantonese, press "2" for English, press "3" for Putonghua
  3. Then press "1" to listen to the service introduction
  4. Finally, press "1" again to subscribe to the service, then you can hang up the phone.
  5. You will receive a SMS for confirmation of subscription, then you can start to download connecting tone into your library

Step II. Download Connecting Tone to your library:
  1. Dial #333
  2. Select language, press "1" for Cantonese, press "2" for English, press "3" for Putonghua
  3. Press "2" to download connecting tone
  4. Press "9" to download connecting tone directly via short code (if you have already got the code); or follow the instruction to download connecting tone
  5. Once finished, press "#" to return to the main menu.

Step III. Assign phone numbers into Caller Group:
  1. Go to the main menu (after language selection) and press "3" to setup your own Connecting Tone Profile
  2. Press "3" to assign phone number or to check the phone number you have assigned
  3. Select Caller Group1 (1-Families, 2- Colleagues, 3-Friends, 4-Others, 5-Lovers)
  4. Press "1" to assign phone number
  5. Follow the instruction to assign phone numbers into different caller groups.
  6. Once finished, press "#" to return to the main menu.

Step IV. Setup Caller Groups' Connecting Tone:
  1. Go to the main menu (after language selection) and press "3" to setup your own Connecting Tone Profile
  2. Press "3" to select the caller group's connecting tone
  3. Select Caller Group1 (1-Families, 2- Colleagues, 3-Friends, 4-Others, 5-Lovers)
  4. Press "3" to setup connecting tones into caller groups
  5. Pre-listen the connecting tone in your library and then press "1" to confirm.
  6. Once finished, press "*" to assign another caller group's connecting tone by repeating no.2-5

Step V. Setup the Predetermine Playing Time Connecting Tone3：
  1. Go to the main menu (after language selection) and press "3" to setup your own Connecting Tone schedule
  2. Press "4" to set the schedule
  3. Enter start date & time with 10 digits (YYYY/MM/DD HH; e.g. start at 2p.m., please enter 14)
  4. Press "1" to confirm the start date and time
  5. Enter end date & time with 10 digits (YYYY/MM/DD HH; e.g. end at 8a.m., please enter 08)
  6. Press "1" to confirm the end date and time
  7. Press "9" and enter your friend's phone number
  8. Press "1" to confirm your friend's phone number
  9. Pre-listen the connecting tone in your library and then press "1" to confirm.
  10. To set another schedule, repeat no.1-11.

Remarks：
  1. Each caller group can store up to 20 phone numbers.
  2. To assign connecting tone into caller group, you must assign phone number into that caller group beforehand
  3. You can set up to 20 schedules but each schedule's start and end date must be within 3 months.
